Scripture notebooks made to write all over.

Paper Divina Scripture Notebooks are designed to make praying with scripture approachable in every way.

Each contains one full book of Scripture plus ample room for writing. They are lightweight, simple, beautiful and affordable so that you never hesitate to order a new one and fill it up. So many of us hesitate to engage with scripture because we are intimidated by or too precious with our beautiful bibles.

Each Paper Divina scripture journal is 8in x 6.5in and features a lovely soft touch matte paper cover. The interior pages have a wonderful writing feel. Opposite each page of biblical text is a lightly-dotted page for journaling, reflections, prayer, sketching or whatever expression of prayer you choose!

  • Gather a small group to pray through one book together, meeting regularly to share and encourage each other.

  • Ask the Holy Spirit!

If you are new to praying with scripture, you can begin this way.

Gather your Paper Divina Scripture Notebook and a pen or pencil and find a quiet place. Quiet your mind and thank God for his presence. He is relentlessly pursuing you.

Invite the Holy Spirit to open your heart and mind to the Word. You can begin anywhere you like in the notebook.

Read slowly and as much or as little as you want.

If you are skeptical, I invite you to give God the chance to be who he says he is for you. Ask him to show you his heart.

If something in the text draws your attention, spend time with it. You can ask God what he wants you to know about him and how he loves you through a word, verse or passage. You can ask the Holy Spirit why this word, verse or passage is drawing your attention.

Then write. You can be totally honest here. This is just between you and the lover of your soul. Offer God your hopes, your heartbreak, your frustration, your doubt, your joy. He wants every piece of your heart to be made whole and he is so gentle and so patient. Let him wash over you day by day.

I am on this journey with you and am praying for you. He tells us he came that we may “have life, and have it abundantly.” Let us receive it. Pray for me, too.
