Each Paper Divina Scripture Notebook contains one full book of scripture from the Revised Standard Version Second Catholic Edition of the bible. Opposite each page of biblical text is a full, lightly-dotted page for prayer and journaling.

The invitation that changed my life.
After a transcendent, spiritual experience giving birth to my first daughter, I was seeking answers. I knew something powerful had happened and that I was changed, but I could not explain it. I had doubts that the Catholic faith of my upbringing - a faith that seemed to me at the time to overlook or even oppress women - could be the answer.
After months of searching, of exploring other spiritual approaches and practices, I had the words, "come and see" stuck in my head. I knew somehow it was about Jesus. So I Googled "most feminist Gospel" and began reading what Google suggested - The Gospel According to John. When I read John 1:39 the words jumped off of the page.
Here was Jesus literally saying those words, "Come and see" to someone seeking answers. I could not believe it. Jesus was literally speaking to me through the pages of scripture. And this was just the beginning. It was my very first experience encountering Him in Scripture. And oh how it has changed me. Gently, slowly, bit by bit. There is so much more to the story!
